Book aid for Ukraine: A cover design package from Moonflower
Like the rest of the world we have watched the unfolding events in Ukraine with growing horror. Keen to do what little we can to support the people impacted by the crisis, we are honoured to be able to support @hayleyemmasteed’s wonderful Book Aid For Ukraine auction, raising money for British-Ukrainian Aid.
We are donating a cover design created by our very own Head of Digital Jasmine Aurora. Jasmine’s dynamic and striking images have been used as covers for bestselling authors including Lynda la Plante, Amy Plum, Lori Ann Stephens and CJ Daugherty.
The winner of the auction will receive a full cover design package:
An initial consultation with Jasmine
A mood board of possible cover concepts
A final design chosen by you from one of those concepts
One round of notes and edits to your specifications
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a professional cover for your work with an experienced designer who understands the importance of a good book cover! After all, covers “give a face to a book’s personality… they’re what will make you pick it up in the first place, then keep it on your shelf to remind you what it meant to you”, as Clare Thorp, BBC Culture Writer, recently found.
